The
second week of August, V.A.L.O.R. league held a huge garage sale during the annual Yard Sale Trail. Several V.A.L.O.R.
members went to garage sales during the summer and asked if they would donate their left-over sale items. The
response was overwhelming and we had hundreds of boxes of items donated. Jim Fernandez picked the items up and several
of our members sorted, cleaned and priced items for a week before the sale. We had many really nice items and the feedback
from the public was very positive. V.A.L.O.R. League would
like to thank the Veterans who came out to help with the sale. It sure lightens the load.
